Kicca Ristorante Italiano: a contemporary Italian classic in Chelsea
Italian restaurant, Kicca, in Chelsea has a place close to the heart of London’s glamorous Italian community. The young and contemporary ‘ristorante italiano’ has already made a name for itself with its winning blend of Italian ‘dolce vita’, London style and consistently good Italian cooking.
The best Italian food
Kicca’s modern Italian cooking has been given the seal of approval by London’s Italians and is now beginning to become known beyond the Italian community by lovers of good, honest Italian cooking. Ingredients are always the star at Kicca with silky homemade pasta, fresh mozzarella and burrata (flown in twice weekly from Campania) and delicious homemade focaccia breads being hugely in demand with all the regulars. At lunchtime, the restaurant offers a lighter menu of salads and pasta. In the evening, a full menu of antipasti, primi, secondi and Kicca’s superb homemade desserts is available.
The finishing touches are spot on too: fresh homemade bread and top quality espresso are a given. Service is just as key a part of the Kicca experience with the restaurant’s loyal Italian waiting staff regarded as some of London’s most charming.

Italian heart
Kicca is named after its chic Neapolitan owner, Chicca Carbonelli D’Angelo, and is inspired by her commitment to create a fun and vibrant place imbued with the passion and pleasure of the Italian good life. As befits its SW3 setting, the two year old restaurant is a thoroughly stylish venue and is decorated in a palette of Schiaparelli pink, black and white. Its pearlised mosaics, sparkling chandeliers and bold pink suede banquettes assure its place on the cool Chelsea scene.
